Kinsei is a logic puzzle game. We designed it to be used without collecting personal data from you. We don't create accounts, we don't use analytics, and we don't track you across apps or websites.

Ads in Free Version: The free version of Kinsei may use Google AdMob to display ads. The Premium version removes all ads.

2) Scope

This policy explains how Kinsei handles information on iOS/iPadOS. If we ever change the app to handle data differently, we will update this policy and App Store disclosures first.

3) Data We Collect

Kinsei does not collect personal data.

Kinsei does not create user accounts. Kinsei does not run third-party analytics. Kinsei does not sell or share your personal information.

4) Data Stored on Your Device

Kinsei may store game-related information locally on your device to support features like:

Current puzzle progress
Settings (theme, input preferences, accessibility toggles)
Local stats (streaks, completions, personal bests)
Downloaded puzzle packs (if enabled)

This information stays on your device unless you use Apple iCloud features (if available in the app).

5) App Permissions

Kinsei is designed to minimize permissions.

Notifications (optional): If enabled, used only for reminders like Daily Puzzle availability.
Photos (optional): Only if you explicitly choose to export/share an image.

6) Third-party services & Apple frameworks

App Store & Apple: You obtain Kinsei through Apple's App Store. Apple may process limited device or purchase information to deliver the app, manage updates, handle payments, prevent fraud, or support Family Sharing. That processing is covered by Apple's privacy policies — not ours.

In-App Purchases: If present, payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details.

6a) Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version of Kinsei. The Premium version removes all ads.

Data Collection: Kinsei itself: Data Not Collected. Ads: may collect limited device/ad data.
Data Linked to You: No (by us). See Google’s policy for its practices.
Tracking: Kinsei does not perform cross-app tracking.

Approximate location (for ad targeting, depending on settings and region)

Upgrade to Premium to remove all ads.
Manage ad personalization settings via your Apple/Google settings where applicable.

7) "Privacy Nutrition Label" (App Store Connect)

Data Collection: The app itself does not collect personal data. Third-party ads in the free version (Google AdMob) may collect device info, ad interactions, approximate location, and IP address to serve ads.
Data Linked to You: We do not link data to your identity. See Google’s policy for its practices.
Tracking: Kinsei does not use cross-app tracking.

Apple may independently collect crash reports or diagnostics if you've opted into "Share with App Developers" at the system level. We do not receive data that identifies you.
